Precious started college after high school but found herself struggling financially and academically. She got back into contact with her high school counselor, who pointed her to Job Corps.
For Precious, Job Corps was the bridge she needed to continue her education.
“Job Corps helps a lot of kids who cannot sit in the classroom for hours. It’s a self-paced program that helps kids who don’t learn the same way as everybody.”
Precious’ dream is to become a psychologist, and on her path to get there, she’s training at Job Corps to become a nurse practitioner gaining experience as a medical assistant.
“At Job Corps, you get to start your career path and start your life.” Job Corps was Precious’ start toward achieving the big goals she’s set for herself.
