Each day, Job Corps celebrates the accomplishments of our students and alumni like you. And every year on Aug. 20, we have an opportunity to remember where it all began. Job Corps was created in 1964 with one unified goal: to train and educate highly motivated young people for successful careers.
Fast-forward 59 years and Job Corps remains committed to our mission and our students. Whether your Job Corps journey began five decades ago, five years ago or even five months ago—you are a part of Job Corps’ history AND our future.
To help celebrate another year of success and new beginnings, I want to tell you about an exciting new campaign that just launched—Job Corps, Begin Here.
Job Corps’ new Begin Here campaign is focused on sharing messages, materials and testimonies to let current and future Job Corps students know about all the possibilities that Begin Here at Job Corps.
Your career training began here. Maybe your lifelong friendships began here. As you’re an alum, we hope that your Job Corps pride begins here, too.
If you know someone who is ready to begin their Job Corps journey, I encourage you to share this video with them.
Even after graduation, you have opportunities to create new beginnings with Job Corps. New connections, partnerships, mentoring relationships and even friendships.
Thank you for continuing your journey with Job Corps. We’re so excited to stay connected with you and look forward to sharing our latest updates.
